A coal train is parked on the siding at Rush Run as humid evening set in along the New River at Thurmond. The dispatcher has just lined up an eastbound coal train at Thurmond after a westbound empty cleared the east end of double track at Claremont.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
