Remarks & Notes |
Back in 2001 the IMRL was flooded out along the Mississippi River in late April. Heavy snows, and then spring thunderstorm caused the 2nd highest crest in the river's history in many spots north of Dubuque. The IMRL stay far away from the river as they detoured over the UP Spineline from Mason City to KC. Train 99 with auto from St. Paul bound for Kansas City was also detoured via the UP. Seen here pulling down on the south side of Mason City in UP's Flint Yard. |
