An excursion on the Octoraro Railway has been led by former TP&W RS2 202 from Oxford, Pennsylvania to this point just yards shy of the Maryland state line at Sylmar, Pennsylvania. There’s not much trackage in front of the Alco, as the former PRR secondary line was abandoned between there and Octoraro Junction, om the Port Road, in 1961.From here former TP&W 205 will lead the train back to Brandywine, Pennsylvania. Some of the passengers returned to an unpleasant surprise. The parking lot had flooded due to heavy rain in the morning, and several cars had had water over the rocker panels , resulting in flooded interiors.
