Remarks & Notes

Wisconsin Central train No. 45 smokes its way through Ackerville, Wisconsin, on the afternoon of May 19, 1995. WC just bought up a big batch of SD45s and a few other goodies from the Santa Fe, including this still untouched F45 No. 5959, paired up with WC GP35 No. 728. The Santa Fe units ran this way on WC for a while until, reportedly, one or more of them accidentally got sent back to the Santa Fe when the locomotives were in the Chicago area.
