The Rio Grande Zephyr spends the night at Grand Junction, Colorado before making its last ever run to Denver. The Thistle mudslide, which severed the Rio Grande main line over the Wasatch Mountains, has caused the train to call Grand Junction home for over 24 hours.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
