Approaching Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, is a northbound Fox River Valley freight on May 13, 1990, powered by a trio of FRVR six-axle locomotives—former CB&Q/Burlington Northern EMD SD24 No. 2402, former Lake Superior & Ishpeming Alco RSD15 No. 2407 and former Southern Railway EMD SD35 No. 2500. Today, expanding urbanization from the City of Fond du Lac has changed this scene considerably.
