A Strip of Light.
New York City Transit Authority (NYCTA) R10 no. 3189 (ACF, 1948-1949) is seen snaking through the curves at Sheepshead Bay Station. Due to the platform canopies covering nearly the full length of the platforms here, there was a brief window where the strip of sunlight illuminating the tracks would have the cars fully lit and minimal shadow on the express tracks. With the angle of the sun being unaccomodating for better shots elsewhere, we decided to swing through here before heading to lunch while waiting for the earth to spin a little further!
