Remarks & Notes
My great, great uncle Robert F. McKee, Sr., was a design engineer at Baldwin and he would give my father different Baldwin Locomotive Works builder's cards when my father would visit him in Collingswood, New Jersey. Here is a beautiful 2-10-4 built for the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad, number 611. It had a tractive force of 96,700 lbs., and a combined engine and tender weight in working order of 901,340 lbs. This Baldwin Locomotive Works builders photo specification card is from the John R. Doughty, Sr. collection.
