On April 17, 1979, my friend Paul Wester and his dad Pete Wester took me on a roadtrip to Horseshoe Curve. Back in those days, climbing over and around the hills there was far more acceptable. Here's one of our catches... TV61 with an SD35 leader, a GP35 sandwich meat, and a brand new GP40-2 trailer. SD35s were nothing that impressive back in those days. Can't remember the last time I saw one.
