Remarks & Notes
A loaded U711 taconite pellet train is seen coming off the Minntac Sub at Nomi Junction with a solid set of tunnel motors leading the loaded Jennies. The Bessemer & Lake Erie is a fan favorite on the Missabe Range. Rebuilt as an SD40-3, it was originally built as SSW 9277, an SD45T-2 in February 1973.
