My great, great uncle Robert F. McKee, Sr., was a design engineer at Baldwin and he would give my father different Baldwin Locomotive Works builder's cards when my father would visit him in Collingswood, New Jersey. This 2-8-2 Mikado, number 56, was built for the Ferrocarril De Antioquia (Columbia) Railroad. The order was for only two locomotives, numbers 56 and 57. According to the specifications listed on the back of the builder's card, this engine and tender had a total weight of 204,500 lbs., and it had a tractive force of 26,400 lbs. This Baldwin Locomotive Works builders photo card is from the John R. Doughty collection.
