In 1989, the AT&SF sold its former TP&W line to a new TP&W corporation, including 19 GP20 locomotives in the deal. A TP&W train in the 1990's typically included a consist of well-worn GP20s, some still in old ATSF schemes and some repainted. This photo, taken recently after RailAmerica purchase of the line, shows a locomotive in the first post ATSF scheme (NYC inspired lightning stripes) and the NYSW "yellow jacket" scheme reflecting the days of Delaware Otsego control of the line (1996-1999).
