Remarks & Notes
The Wiscasset Waterville & Farmington is a local tourist steam operation based in Alna, ME. They are truly unique in many aspects. For starters, their locomotive #9 is the last surviving two foot gauge steam locomotive. Their crew uses their turntable to spin the locomotive after each trip so that it is facing in the correct direction. Pictured here is their 12:00 PM departure operating over Trout Brook.
