Bicentennial liveried 1510 and 1512 roll through Matanuska on a works train in August 1985, the sun unfortunately alluding the photographer at the time.

SOO 2500 was donated to the LSRM in 1986 by Soo Line Railway. The exterior was restored and repainted, and mechanical restoration was completed in the spring of 1995.

CSX 118 and 119 lead the 1989 CSX Santa Train southbound across the Copper Creek Viaduct at Clinchport, VA.

The power for the 1989 train was CSX FP7 #118 and CSX F7B #119. CSX #118 started life in 1952 as Clinchfield #200 and is currently West Virginia Central (Western Maryland) #67.
