The frst excursion of the day heads south along the Naugatuck River.

After the Pioneer Industrial Railway was booted off the City of Peoria owned Kellar Branch, PIRY 102 was moved to Kolbe and the Peoria & Western, a sister company, both owned by Pioneer Railcorp.

The restored former DL&W tower can be seen near the rear of the train.

An RS-3/RS-32 combination leads today's train east to the NS interchange at Slateford Jct, PA.
