A Canon City and Royal Gorge passenger train is just west of Canon City, Colorado, on the afternoon of June 2, 2011. CC&RG F7 No. 403 is a former Chicago and North Western locomotive.

In this view we are about 45 minutes into our 2 hour journey through the beautiful Royal Gorge. It was a wonderful ride and I enjoyed the open car for the entire ride!

The Royal Gorge Route power and passenger consist lays over at the former Santa Fe depot after another successful day of excursions through the gorge.
