After returning from Mexico, MO, KCS 2967 yards their traffic in Slater, marking the last move this crew will make prior to the CPKC merger.

The Slater Local passes through a modern wayside detector on their Westbound return trip from Mexico, MO.

Lead by four locomotives, an exceptionally heavy H-MEMGAL (Memphis to Galesburg) is passing through Gibb siding. The train is loaded with steel coils, steel pipe and I-beams.
