Metra unit shoves cars back towards downtown Chicago. This is a very busy piece of mainline with Metra, Amtrak and an occasional freight.

After almost a solid month of rain and clouds, we finally got a nice day just to watch a train with a six unit lashup head west.

C&TS 487 is coming into Chama at the end of today's run. It's a national holiday and American flags are flying on the 487.
