Cold weather brings air problems for H-GALMEM at Gibb siding. I never saw the conductor on the ground inspecting the train until I looked at the photos later in the day.
The coldest day I ever railfanned was out on the BNSF Transcon near Marceline, Missouri. A long-awaited westbound stack train passed under highway 36 so I could run back to the warmth of the car.
