This former SW9, now affectionately called a "Hammerhead" by railfans and UP crews alike, is putting out some unwanted steam through its exhaust stacks.
After the merger with the UP, several sets of WP road and switcher units found their way down to Southern California and worked local UP yard and switch jobs.
Overnight, four loaded autoracks drifted away from the Vegas unloading facility...causing them to derail and rip up track. Local crane company Dielco has the job of righting them up.
