Amtrak 29 leads northbound train 300 through Lemont on its morning run. If you look closely in the background, you can see an intermodal running on the BNSF Chillicothe Subdivision.

Far too early in the morning, GTW 6224 leads the Oil Job eastbound past Lemont's Kickapoo Days, which will open in only an hour or two.

BNSF 4369 passes an abandoned industrial facility as it sweeps through the S-curve at Lemont. In the background, you can see much of historic downtown Lemont.

The day after Christmas and the Santa Fe dispatches another westbound over the Chicago Sanitary & Ship Canal bridge.

GTW GP40-2 6420 and GTW GP9 4927 bring tank cars to the refinery in Lemont. The new cast P5R24 sounded great on this classic Grand Trunk Western GP40-2.

A nice set of power, a GP60M, GP30, and GP40-2, hustle a decent local west through this ATSF span over the Ship Canal; shot taken from 10' up a phone pole.

A clean set of four GP60Ms curves off the Cal Sanitary & Ship Canal Bridge, bound for Joliet, KC, Belen, and on to the west coast.

A pair of former BN SD40-2's cruise down the twisting turning mainline through Lemont enroute to Joliet, where it will jump on the BNSF's Chili Sub for the sprint to Galesburg.
