When NLR comes down this way, it's usually to bring LP tanks to Wenner. But as of late, a large wind generator offload site has popped up, prompting numerous windmill trains.
Another load of windmill parts, this time blades, heads out of the St. Cloud yard and out to Rockville for unloading. By sunset, all but six blades will have been unloaded.
NLR #1411, built 67 years ago as GN #611, is still earning its keep hauling freight. On this day, it had just arrived with a delivery of wind turbine blades from St. Cloud.
