On a crisp, cool September 11th morning, an inbound Metra slows to stop at Main Street station. The flag in town has been lowered to half staff for today.

The flagman does his job while the maintanance crew connects the new gate to the crossing mechanism; the old broken gate is now on the roof of the truck.

Two Bluebonnet Geeps on the local today! A very rare GP7 followed by a GP35! Twice today I saw two Bluebonnets together. The other pair was a GP60 and a GP30.
