A very late LPJ02 makes a morning appearance in Elmhurst with the CNW duo.

CNW 8646 leads a re-position move from Oklahoma to the NS at KC. This train is climbing up from the UP and onto the KCT to cross the Hannibal Bridge into North Kansas City.

CNW 8646 and CNW 8701 roll toward the wye at the east end of West Chicago Yard to be turned. Then they will run light power back to Global Three in Rochelle Illinois.

The reunited C&NW twins speed downhill at Milepost 39 on their way to West Chicago.
