A GP-9/GP-7/GP-38 consist heads west. Long hood was the proper "front" on many Chessie geeps with only the true front receiving the big "C".
Looks like this GP-30/GP-9 set is in notch 8 as they blast west for Willard.
An ex EL SD-45/ex PC U-30-B duo pauses for a moment allowing this cross light shot to accent the EMD spartan cab design.
Another one of those early Conrail rainbow trains, this RDG unit has PC GP-38-2 8125 and EL GP-35 2562 helping out on this hazy August day.
You would have chosen to get the parking ticket (no time to feed the meter) also, right?
Three as yet untouched PC units- a SD-35/GP-40/U-30-B consist- lead this Conrail train west over the former EL in town.
A very short through freight heads west on the former EL past what's left of the EL yard in town, now used for car storage. Note blue Alco C-630 6769 2nd out.
GM special; deadheading to pick up passengers at the Greenbrier
