The first picture of the day where the smoke has turned from white to black. It's starting to warm up as 4014 has just departed Ogden, Utah.
It was a beautiful sight as UP 4014 rounded the corner at Castle Rock, Utah, on a chilly morning of October 1st.
The Big Boy and all her majesty. It was a cool morning so we got treated to a plume of white smoke/steam this morning. I liked this shot, because it really show off her massive size.

They don't look like this long. Brand new SD70AH 8969 and 8967 are on there return trip east, after their first trip to the west coast.
