Outbound Z. Note the three dash-8s each, all with the same paint scheme but with each in a different state of cleanliness and decay.
H3 H2 H1 on the point of this hot Z train for Cicero Yard. Third unit in the consist was burning I guess oil causing the excess black smoke like an old C30-7.
UP 1988 was on the point of a Z-Train at Berwyn.
A nice trio of warbonnet GP60Ms, led by the 128, head into Cicero Yard. If only 128 didn't say BNSF on the side, but now I'm just getting plain greedy! :)
A light power move of rare motors -a narrow cab dash nine, and two Conrail engines- prepares to head back into Clyde after pulling out to change tracks.
Standard cab CSX power heads a coal empty westward on the racetrack.
A westbound Metra commuter train rolls through Berwyn as another approaches from the west.
Z Chicago South Seattle departs Cicero Yard with 1 of the 163 Heritage 1 painted Dash 9s leading. BNSF 1117 was built in January 1997 and its paint is still holding up very well!
Light power runs out on Main 2 and then comes right back on it. The exact purpose of this move was unclear.
