A cold, rainy day greets rare SDL39 583 and FM H-16-66 549 parked together at Pigs Eye roundhouse, St. Paul. The SDL39 went to the Soo Line and Wisconsin Central. The FM was retired in April 1976.

An older SD70ACe leads a newer SD70ACe and company past St. Paul Union Depot and on down to Western Avenue yard before continuing it's snowy journey to Valley Park, MN.
CP 8758 and CP 4420 lead a Manifest train West up the hill in St. Paul where the Empire Builder runs. This line is not very busy, but the trains that do run make it worth the chase.
