In 1983, Conrail CEO L. Stanley Crane had the Conrail business train repainted from Conrail blue to a less-gaudy Pullman green. The train, based in Reading, was painted elsewhere, most likely Altoona. Here, a newly repainted car 20 is being moved around the Reading yard by an ex-Reading SW900. The modified hopper beyond the switcher was used for clearing the various tunnels around the Reading system of icicles.
