The Blue Mountain and Reading’s 1986 railfan weekend included two trains running between Temple and Hamburg all day long on both days, with a rotating variety of locomotives. Among the featured power were Reading 4-8-4 2102, BM&R 4-6-2 425, a Reading GP30, a Reading C630, and this pair of PRR E8’s. Here a westbound train waits in the Leesport siding for an eastbound with 2102 on the point.
