This view shows the hood ends of a pair of Wisconsin Central SW1500s assigned to heavy switching at Shops Yard in North Fond du Lac, WI. The 1556 is in the early color scheme using the original cream color for the band. This unit was former SP 2652 built in June 1972. The 1564 uses the more recent scheme, simpler, using more of an armour yellow paint. 1564 was built in March 1971 for K&IT (no. 75), and later became NS 75.
