This day, cogwheel steamlocomotive H 1/2 # 7, built in 1873 as first locomotive of the new founded SLM (Schweizerische Lokomotiv- und Maschinenfabrik) , was officially on the mountain for the first time after 12 years in the Swiss Museum of Transport (VHS) in Lucerne. The red car B # 5 dates from 1871, when the Vitznau-Rigi-Bahn was opened, but was rebuilt new in 2009. The decorated train from Vitznau to Rigi Kulm with invited guests is below Freibergen on a grade of about 25.0 %. In the background the Vierwaldstättersee (Lake Lucerne). This year, on the same day, there should be seen a similiar sight!
