"Sleeper Service Returns to the Night Owl"
Amtrak's "Night Owl" 66 with deadheading (non-revenue) Viewliner I Sleeper "New River" pauses at New Haven Union Station during the early morning hours of March 10th, 2021. The Viewliner is on its way to Southampton Yard in Massachusetts where it will be used on the Boston section of the Lake Shore Limited. Overnight sleeper service will be returning to Night Owl trains (65/66/67) starting April 5th, which will make consists like this a common sight, as they were back in the early 2000s.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
