| The Blue Line runs partly on former Southern Railway roadbed which was abandoned in the 1950s when that railroad opened a new line away from the downtown area. In 2016, an extension opened to the UNCC campus north of town. CATS 92, the replica trolley car seen here, was sold to Memphis Transit Authority a few years ago. |
