Christmas cheer lights up a dreary evening on Stevens Pass as a BNSF stack train rolls through Skykomish, WA toward Seattle. Inclement weather closed neighboring Snoqualmie Pass for part of the day, and traffic on US 2 over Stevens was taking twice the normal time to get to Wenatchee. Meantime, the railroad kept rolling along.
An ongoing/growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome, but seldom seen beauty of railroads because most of us don't go out after sundown or before sunrise. From dusk to dawn, lights are on! (And I continue to find new "Lights In The Night"!)
