A rainbow of FEC power lead 226 on this warm morning, with the original "Champion" 714. Vegetation clearing has opened up a few new angles on this famous bridge.

Rare compound of three different engine types and colours: SD70 FEC 101 in blue-yellow leading GP40 FEC 425 in blue-pink and SD40 FEC 711 in orange-yellow.

In about a month or two a shot like this on 226 will likely be impossible as all 24 ES44's should be here and in service. But for now I enjoy GP40-3's on an intermodal train.

224 once was the mainstay of GP40-2's now ruled by the big M's. Though the GE's are slightly delayed, when they arrive these motors will be eventually leave the FEC.

FEC 713 spooks an American Egret as 226 rumbles onto the bridge. Fans of the Champion scheme will be happy to know that all ES44C4's that are coming will wear those colors.

FEC 226 rolls across the famous bridge in St. Augustine with four motors, including one of the new retro blues, #434, 4th out. The 434 was the last GP40-2 ever built by EMD.
