The Kyle Railroad has replaced the Cadillac & Lake City as the operator of the former Rock Island across Kansas, bringing former SP&S #320 for motive power.

Brandon Rail was created in 1981 to serve industries on the former Rock Island line between Manhattan, KS and Clifton, KS. The operation lasted less than a year and the line was later abandoned.
