We take the GE a little more seriously now that Chargers have essentially replaced them, even better when a special one shows up.

Chargers are on! Like someone threw a switch the Chargers have taken charge of the Silver Service the Meteor seen at Palatka.

GE P42DC #75 and ALC-42 Charger #310 lead Amtrak #91 into Tampa.

Chargers for the second time lead the Silver Star. Dual sets of chargers have turned up on 97/98 and now have reached 91/92.

While the new Chargers are daily sights elsewhere on Amtrak trains, this is the first pair to lead without assistance in Florida, seen on the northbound run from Miami.
