MCRY 1256 pulls its seven coach into a heavily-wooded curve during one of the Autumn Color runs through the Wisconsin countryside from its North Freedom depot and museum. No. 1256, a 60-ton, 500 horsepower Baldwin built in 1953, and designated a RS-4-TC-AA1, was in U.S. Army service its entire life, purchased by MCRY in late 2006 and pulling all of the tourist trains for the 2007 season. Today's consist included four Lackawanna, one Soo and two C&NW coaches. More info at www.midcontinent.org.
