PRR 7555 under steam at Shamokin. From railpictures.net viewer Toby Schwartzman, "I believe that..was taken..in the Pennsy yard, which is now occupied by Weis Markets. In the upper right corner..you can just see the slag mountain over the roof of that building..The yard ran east-west, with the slag mountain to the north. Also..look at the mountain to the left. The Reading High Line from Sunbury would have descended that grade and come into Shamokin next to the Pennsy, placing it at the back of the photographer." PRR Class H10.
