Remarks & Notes

NYO&W FT units sit with a heater car at Erie's Croxton Yard. My grandmother lived at the Oneida Community Mansion in the late 1940s and I recall O&W diesel-powered freights running right next to the property. There were a number of FTs stored in Secaucus awaiting a buyer after the " Old Woman " ceased operations in 1957. A few were sold to the B&O but most were ultimately scrapped.
