| Mt Rainier Scenic Railroad's newly restored Polson Logging Co. #70 climbs the "Tacoma Eastern Gulch" in Tacoma. The MRSR train was in Tacoma for a series of excursions in conjunction with a model railroad show.
This locomotive was the subject of a nearly 10 year long restoration project at the Mt Rainier Scenic Railroad shops. The locmotive required a total restoration. The running gear was completely rebuilt, and the engine also required extensive boiler work.
