Remarks & Notes
At MP 24 on the Crane Creek Branch is a large red rock cut, seen here, the potash local begins thru the north end enroute south. This line was originally built by the DRGW in 1962, and still this day UP opeartes the branch to Potash once a week. In 2002 this local ran out of Grand Jct., CO, down to the potash facility at the end of the line near MP 35 and returned back.
