Remarks & Notes

Just about any new BN six axle power quickly made its way to the coalfields, it was and is demanding service that required the best of the best. This shot at East Alliance has nearly new SD60's 8302 and 8301 being spliced by an SD/ fuel tender set. Also in the background to the right of 8302 you can see my Dads brand new 1986 Crown Vic, it was the ride of choice on many a rail fan road trip.
