Remarks & Notes
1869 is the City of Durham and 1869 is the year the city was founded. All North Carolina's locomotives are named for its cities and numbered for the founding date. The single star is North Carolina's claim to one star on the original American flag as one of the 13 colonies. The short three car train is the January version. Consist size varies with expected ridership.
