The distinctive headlight of an Alco FA is looking right at you through the door of an elegant Napa Valley Wine Train parlor car when the engines coupled on the rear at St. Helena, Calif. to return to Napa, Sept. 9, 2007. It is hard to imagine the parlor car was once a Northern Pacific coach and spent most of its life on the Rio Grande Ski Train out of Denver. The Wine Train modified the very rusty vestibule into an observation platform.
