A never-to-be-repeated elephant-style F-unit trio on the old Western Maryland Railway through Chambersburg. Trains plied this route from 1881 to November 2, 2000. The tracks are gone today, but the right-of-way has been turned into a 1-1/2 mile rail-trail. The 116 is an ex-Clinchfield unit, built as an F3A in 1948. The occasion was MARC's "Patriot Special," offering several shuttles that day between Chambersburg and Lurgan.
