Two Union Pacific SD40-2’s, one a “snoot”, the other conventional, roll an eastbound Rio Grande bare table train across the oft-photographed Santa Fe trestle at Larkspur, Colorado. Framing the other end of the empty train were six D&RGW cabooses. Here’s hoping that the 2017 prosperity train brings more than empty flatcars to all RP members.
