A typical diverse assortment of Penn Central passenger power awaits assignment at New Haven Motor Storage back in 1971 We see GG1 4872 in PRR paint, a former New Haven EP-5 electric (now PC class E-40) in PC black, and a relettered New Haven FL9 still in NH colors, among others. In the background, an ex-NYC heavyweight commuter coach joins repainted ex-NH lightweight cars on a commuter consist.
