Remarks & Notes

The Coast Starlight glides along Puget Sound at Steilacoom, south of Tacoma, WA on a sunny April day. Amtrak continues to use this route after their December 2017 derailment of a Cascades service train on their new route along I-5. The scenery is much better on this line.
